Support EVYS with a tax deductible donation for our Play-A-Thon.
East Valley Youth Symphony is thrilled to kick off this year’s Play-A-Thon—our biggest fundraiser of the year. This special event, led by EVYS conductors and guest music professionals, is designed to inspire and motivate our young musicians while building teamwork and strengthening their connection as an ensemble. Through engaging activities and music-making, students also grow their ability to share the joy of music with our community.
We ask all musicians to gather pledges for their participation in the Play-A-Thon, or accept donations if they’re unable to take part. Since tuition covers only about half of EVYS’s operating expenses, our goal this year is to raise $10,000 to support our programs.
Donors can choose to support a musician by pledging an amount per hour or by making a one-time donation. Play-A-Thon practice time totals five hours, so a per-hour pledge is an easy and fun way to encourage our musicians while directly supporting their hard work. Prefer a set amount instead? That’s always welcome too! Every contribution makes a difference, and any donation—whether it’s $5, $10, or more—is truly appreciated and helps EVYS continue bringing music to our community.
