Audition week is here, and we’re excited to welcome new musicians to the EVYS family! If you weren’t able to audition this week, don’t worry—there’s still an opportunity to join us.
Throughout the season, we will be holding auditions on Monday evenings for interested musicians. If you would like to audition after this week, simply visit our Auditions page for information and to request an audition:

As we kick off the season, we also invite all EVYS families to attend our Parent Meeting on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Benjamin Franklin Performing Arts Center. This meeting is an important opportunity to learn about the upcoming season, hear about expectations and events, meet our leadership team, and get your questions answered. We encourage every family to attend.
This season is especially meaningful as we celebrate 20 years of EVYS! We have an exciting anniversary season ahead with incredible music, memorable performances, and special moments as we celebrate two decades of inspiring young musicians. We can’t wait to share everything we have planned with our students, families, alumni, and community.
As we prepare for another amazing season, we’re also looking for volunteers to help keep EVYS running smoothly. Our organization thrives because of dedicated parents and community members who generously share their time and talents.
We are especially looking for volunteers to fill these important roles:
- Treasurer Helper
- Publishing Director
- Administrative Support
- Fundraising Director and Fundraising Team Members
- Concert Attire Coordinator
Whether you have a few hours each month or are looking for a larger leadership role, we’d love to have you on our team. Every volunteer plays an important part in creating meaningful musical experiences for our students.
