East Valley Youth Symphony welcomes student musicians from around 5th grade through college. With three ensembles at varying experience levels, there is an opportunity for musicians at nearly every stage of their musical journey.
Help Your Students Find Their Ensemble
EVYS offers three performing ensembles:
Concert Orchestra
A strings-only ensemble designed for developing musicians who are ready to strengthen their fundamentals, gain ensemble experience, and grow their confidence.
Chamber Orchestra
A strings-only ensemble for intermediate musicians who are ready for more challenging music and continued artistic development.
Symphony Orchestra
A full symphony orchestra featuring strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion for advanced musicians seeking the experience of performing orchestral repertoire.
Participating in an ensemble outside of a student’s school music program provides valuable additional experience. Musicians receive more practice and performance time, work with different conductors, explore new music, make new friends, and develop skills they can bring back to their school band or orchestra.
EVYS is proud to work alongside local music educators in encouraging students to continue developing their talents and their love of music.

Complimentary Concert Tickets
We invite local band and orchestra teachers to experience EVYS in concert.
Complimentary Teacher Ticket
Music educators may download a complimentary ticket flyer to attend an EVYS concert free of charge.

Student Ticket
Students may attend an EVYS concert free with the purchase of an accompanying adult ticket. Teachers are welcome to download and distribute this offer to their students.
Ticket flyers must be presented according to the instructions listed on the offer and may be subject to event capacity.

Teachers are welcome to download, print, and distribute any of the digital resources on this page.
Physical copies may also be available for schools. To request printed flyers, posters, or brochures, please email media-director@evysaz.org and include:
- Your name
- Your school’s name
- The materials you would like to receive
- The approximate number of copies needed
